Hi, we’re Paul Little and Bjorn Delblanc, the faces behind Blue Jay Exterior Renovations. We’re not just another siding company: we’re lifelong Edmontonians with deep roots in the community and a true passion for what we do.
We both began our journeys in the siding industry with James Hardie Building Products, the world’s leading manufacturer of fiber cement siding. As local reps, we spent years educating builders, architects, and contractors on the value of James Hardie products and how to install them correctly.
But we noticed that the siding industry in Edmonton was missing something. While there were plenty of siding installers, most of them were focused on new construction, working for big developers who built dozens or even hundreds of homes and condo units each year.
But their private clients (homeowners like you) often found themselves left in the dark, struggling to navigate a process that seemed simple and straightforward to the contractor.
We saw the need for a change, and in 2017 we founded Blue Jay Exterior Renovations.
We work for homeowners, not homebuilders
Most of our clients will only complete one or two siding projects in their lifetime. New construction installers work mostly for homebuilders, doing 20 or more jobs at once for clients that almost never have questions.
Because we focus 100% on the homeowner experience, we’re not spread thin… we’re locked in.

Paul Little
OWNER
Paul handles everything pre-construction for Blue Jay: from project consultations to design support to contracts. When not meeting with clients or at his computer, you might find Paul adding another row of pictures to the gallery wall in our showroom.

Bjorn Delblanc
OWNER
Bjorn manages our construction and personally oversees every installation. Bjorn’s time is spent working with our installers towards a smooth renovation, meeting with our clients to ensure their complete satisfaction, and planning upcoming projects.

Lisa
PROJECT CONSULTANT
Along with Paul, Lisa will be your main point of contact for everything pre-construction. She’ll meet with you at your home to get an understanding of the project, take measurements, offer design support, and answer any and all questions along the way.

OFFICE MANAGER
When you reach out to Blue Jay, David is likely the first person you’ll speak with. David handles a wide range of responsibilities for our clients. He’ll schedule your initial consultation, be by your side in our showroom if you want to explore products in person, and keep you updated on your project’s schedule.

Sherwood
SITE SUPERVISOR
As site supervisor, Sherwood is a major part of Blue Jay’s stress-free siding renovations. Sherwood’s on site every day to make sure each project meets the Blue Jay standard: working with installers on the details, and meeting with clients to make sure they’re more than happy with the process and result.

Mike
PROJECT COORDINATOR
As project coordinator, Mike ensures that each jobsite runs smoothly: crews get all the materials they need, clients’ properties are cleaned up promptly after the job is done, and higher level questions are communicated back to Sherwood and Bjorn for team problem-solving.
