Hi, we’re Paul Little and Bjorn Delblanc, the faces behind Blue Jay Exterior Renovations. We’re not just another siding company – we’re lifelong Edmontonians with deep roots in the community and a true passion for what we do.
We both began our journeys in the siding industry with James Hardie Building Products, the world’s leading manufacturer of fiber cement siding. As local reps, we spent years educating builders, architects, and contractors on the value of James Hardie products and how to install them correctly.
But we noticed a troubling fact – the siding industry in Edmonton was missing something crucial. While there were plenty of siding installers, most of them were focused on new construction, working for big developers who built dozens, if not hundreds, of homes and condo units each year.
But their private clients – homeowners like you – often found themselves left in the dark, struggling to navigate a process that seemed simple and straightforward to the contractor.
We saw the need for a change, and in 2017 we founded Blue Jay Exterior Renovations.

We don’t take any project for granted - no matter the size or scope. Most of our clients will only undertake one or two siding projects in their lifetime, and we’re here to make sure that the experience is as smooth and satisfying as possible.

Paul handles everything pre-construction for Blue Jay - from project consultations to design support to contracts. When not meeting with clients or at his computer, you might find Paul adding another row of pictures to the gallery wall in our showroom.

Bjorn Delblanc
OWNER
Bjorn manages our construction and personally oversees every installation that we do. The majority of Bjorn’s time is spent on the job site, working with our installers towards a smooth renovation, and meeting with our clients to ensure their complete satisfaction.

Lisa
PROJECT CONSULTANT
Along with Paul, Lisa will be your main point of contact for everything pre-construction. She’ll meet with you at your home to get an understanding of the project, take measurements, offer design support, and answer any and all questions along the way.

OFFICE MANAGER
When you reach out to Blue Jay, David is likely the first person you’ll speak with - he handles a wide range of responsibilities for our clients. He’ll schedule your initial consultation, be by your side in our showroom if you want to explore products in person, and keep you updated on your project’s schedule.

SITE SUPERVISOR
Blue Jay promises a stress free siding renovation, and Sherwood works hard to make sure that happens. Sherwood is on site every day to ensure our team has the needed materials, reviewing installer details, and meeting with clients to make sure they’re more than happy with the process and result.

PROJECT COORDINATOR
Making sure each client is fully satisfied with their project is our goal, and part of that is ensuring our install team has everything they need to do so. Mike gets everyone the materials and tools they need, is there to lend a hand, and helps us to actively manage each of our sites.
