A perfectly balanced exterior design mixed with exterior insulation for a spectacular finished product!

There’s a lot we love about this one - but if we were to pick one thing to say about the design, it would be that no one element pulls too much weight visually. Every time you look, there’s another feature that’s going to catch your eye, and each one of them work in harmony with the next.
”Oh wow, I love that board and batten feature on the front”. “Oh nice, I like how that wraps into a horizontal plank on the face of the garage.” “Wait, that bottom section used to all be brick"?” “Look at how the new lights pop against the white Sturdimounts.” And last but not least - “those posts!”

Another wonderful aspect of this home’s design is the way the new siding blends in with the home. If you look at the original photos, it looks like hundreds of homes you’ve seen in Edmonton. But if you look at the new photos - the new siding still fits the era of home, and fits positively in the neighborhood. Is it the nicest looking home on the block? You bet. But it also isn’t sticking out like some of the new infill designs we see going into older neighborhoods.

Hardie Plank, Panel (the board and batten accents), and Trim, were installed in Light Mist. And the gorgeous front posts were clad in Lux Panel steel cladding in the colour Knotty Teak.

Along with the beautiful new exterior Hardie siding, this home got a significant insulation upgrade. A mixture of 1” and 2” Enerspan Exterior Insulation was installed for added thermal value - keeping the home cooler in the Summer, and warmer in the Winter.
