Replacing a Front Facade with Vinyl
Some of our larger siding renovations can take 3 to 4 weeks to install, but you don’t have to have a massive project to make a big impact. For this customer, we completed a stunning transformation in just 2 days!
To be clear, we don’t believe in speed as a measure of a great customer experience, or a great installation: but we do want to show you that a quick project can make a big difference to a home’s curb appeal.
This classic bungalow was clad in a dated, wide reveal vinyl siding that had reached the end of its lifespan. The siding itself was weathered, cracked, and was starting to pull apart in places. To the homeowner’s surprise, our inspection revealed that the home’s original wood siding was still there underneath the white vinyl.
Knowing that the existing vinyl was installed over wood siding, we provided the homeowner with a quote to remove the exisitng vinyl and install a thin layer of leveling insulation over the wood. The insulation provides a flat surface for us to install the new siding on, and was less expensive for the homeowner than removing the wood siding.
