James Hardie is the world’s leading manufacturer of fiber cement siding. Made up of cement, sand, wood fiber, and water - Hardie siding products are look like genuine wood siding but are built to withstand even the harshest climates.

Hardie Plank is their horizontal plank product - their most popular product here in Alberta. But they’ve also a vertical board and batten application, as well as a shingle product. And for corners, windows, and extra detailing - they manufacture a Hardie Trim product.

Colour Options

While it is possible to purchase primed Hardie products and have them painted after installation, more than 99% of Hardie products sold in Alberta are pre-finished, using Hardie’s Colorplus finish.
Hardie has 18 colours available in their standard colour palette, and are generally stocked locally in Edmonton.

Hardie siding is extremely durable, with a proven track record of performance in our climate. Hardie is non-combustible, hail proof, and has strong resistance to fading.

Warranty

James Hardie is a company that has been around for more than 125 years, and they stand behind their products. Hardie siding is backed by a 30 year non-prorated warranty on the material substrate, a 15 year warranty on the Colorplus finish.
