It’s pretty simple, really. Both members of the ownership team at Blue Jay Exterior Renovations worked directly for James Hardie Building Products. During that time, it was our job to inform homebuilders, architects, and engineers of the features of James Hardie fiber cement products, as well as teach contractors how to properly design and install full wall assemblies. To this day, contractors (and even current Hardie reps) still call us to ask us questions about proper James Hardie installation. Our customers get the direct benefit of our vast experience.

Blue Jay Exterior Renovations is an Elite Preferred contractor with James Hardie Building Products. As a part of this program, we are required to meet minimum requirements for customer service and number of completed renovation projects. Working with an Elite Preferred contractor means that you are working with someone that installs James Hardie Siding every day, not as a special case.

This 9-stage process includes strict, written guidelines on when we present our contract, which is approved by the Government of Alberta as part of our prepaid contractor’s license. It also includes checklists to ensure that we get the product specifications, design, and installation exactly as you expect. And finally, since we provide a meticulously detailed formal quote (including unlimited revisions), you will never get to the end of a project hoping, with your fingers crossed, that you won’t be hit with any surprise hidden charges.
